This 9-day Ladakh circuit begins in Leh with gradual acclimatization and visits to key monasteries along the Indus Valley. The route then moves north across Khardung La into Nubra Valley, transitioning from mountain ridges to high-altitude desert terrain.

From Nubra, the journey heads east to Pangong Lake and continues deeper into the remote Changthang region toward Hanle. An excursion to Umling La Pass adds one of the highest motorable roads in the world to the itinerary, covering isolated high-altitude landscapes and vast open plateaus.

The return leg follows the Indus belt via geothermal valleys and river settlements back to Leh, before crossing the Srinagar–Leh highway through Lamayuru, Kargil, and Zojila Pass into Kashmir Valley. The tour concludes in Srinagar, forming a complete trans-Himalayan journey across Ladakh’s passes, lakes, monasteries, and frontier terrain.
