9 Days Jammu and Kashmir Trip Overview

This 9-day Kashmir winter tour starts in Srinagar with city sightseeing before following an extended circuit through Sonamarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam. The first day includes Shankaracharya Temple, Chashme Shahi Garden, Pari Mahal, Nishat Bagh, Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, Hazratbal Shrine and Lal Chowk Market. The journey continues from Srinagar to Sonamarg via Drass, with Zoji La Pass included in the route. A separate Sonamarg sightseeing day covers Thajiwas Glacier, Baltal Valley and Zojila Pass. From Sonamarg, the route proceeds to Gulmarg through Kangan, Gagangir and Tangmarg. Two nights in Gulmarg allow a dedicated local sightseeing day featuring the Gondola via Kongdori towards Apharwat Peak, St. Mary’s Church, pony rides and winter walks. Gondola access, timings and outdoor activities depend on snowfall, weather and local conditions.
