7 Days Ladakh Trip Overview

This 7-day Leh Lamayuru Nubra Pangong Tso Moriri circuit begins with acclimatization and local exploration around Leh and the Indus Valley region. The journey first moves westward along the Leh–Kargil corridor to cover ancient monastery clusters and dramatic river confluence landscapes before returning to Leh.

The route then shifts north across Khardung La into Nubra Valley, where high mountain terrain gradually transitions into a cold desert landscape. From Nubra, the itinerary continues eastward via the Shyok corridor toward Pangong Tso, entering Ladakh’s eastern lake belt.

The circuit extends deeper into the Changthang plateau toward Tso Moriri, crossing remote high passes and wide-open Himalayan plains. The return drive passes through Tso Kar and Tanglang La before re-entering the Indus Valley monastery region and concluding in Leh, forming a complete western, northern, and eastern Ladakh circuit prior to departure.
