The route then extends westward along the Indus Valley toward Kargil, covering monasteries, river confluences, and cultural landmarks, ensuring gradual altitude adaptation and balanced travel suitable for family-friendly pacing.

After an overnight stay in Kargil, the journey retraces the same scenic highway back to Leh, covering key sites such as Drass War Memorial, Lamayuru, and Sangam. The route then shifts northward across Khardung La into Nubra Valley, where the terrain changes into a cold desert landscape. Diskit and Hunder form the main exploration points, offering monastery visits and sand dune experiences.

From Nubra Valley, the journey continues eastward via the Shyok River route toward Pangong Lake, passing through remote high-altitude landscapes before reaching the lake. The return to Leh is via Chang La, covering high mountain passes and scenic valleys. This circuit connects western, northern, and eastern Ladakh regions with structured travel flow before departure from Leh.
