12 Days Uttarakhand Trip Overview

The family Char Dham journey begins with arrival in Haridwar, followed by local sightseeing covering Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple, Sapt Rishi Ashram, Shantikunj, Daksh Prajapati Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, and Har Ki Pauri for evening Ganga Aarti. The next day includes a scenic drive via Mussoorie to Barkot, which serves as the base for Yamunotri. From Barkot, the route continues to Janki Chatti followed by a 5 km trek to Yamunotri Temple and hot springs before returning to Barkot.

The journey then proceeds to Uttarkashi for temple visits and overnight stay, followed by a drive to Gangotri Temple with a stop at Gagnani hot springs before returning to Uttarkashi. The route continues towards Guptkashi via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Ukhimath, covering major river confluences. The Kedarnath section begins with a drive to Gaurikund followed by a 15–18 km trek to Kedarnath Temple, including temple darshan and overnight stay, before returning to Guptkashi the next day.

From Guptkashi, the journey proceeds to Badrinath via Joshimath and Govind Ghat, including temple darshan and visit to Tapt Kund before descending to Joshimath. The route then continues to Rishikesh via Karnaprayag, Nandprayag, and Devprayag, covering multiple confluences. The final day includes Rishikesh sightseeing covering Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Triveni Ghat, Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, and Janki Setu before departure from Rishikesh railway station, concluding the Char Dham circuit.
