5 Days Uttarakhand Trip Overview

This 5-day winter circuit through Uttarakhand begins in Delhi and travels to Haridwar for local sightseeing at Har Ki Pauri, Mansa Devi Temple and Chandi Devi Temple, followed by Ganga Aarti and an overnight stay in Haridwar.

The journey then continues from Haridwar towards Joshimath through Devprayag, Dhari Devi Temple, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag and Nandaprayag. These river confluences and spiritual stops form an important part of the mountain route, while winter weather and road conditions may affect timings and sightseeing coverage.

From Joshimath, the itinerary includes a full-day excursion to Auli. The day covers an optional Auli Cable Car ride at own cost, Auli Artificial Lake, Gorson Bugyal and Chattrakund Lake, along with a pass-by or view of Nanda Devi National Park. Cable car operation, high-altitude sightseeing, access and visibility remain subject to winter weather and local conditions.

The return journey from Joshimath heads towards Rishikesh with stops at Nandprayag, Karanprayag, Rudraprayag, Dhari Devi Temple and Devprayag, depending on winter road and weather conditions. After an overnight stay in Rishikesh, the final day covers Ram Jhula, Triveni Ghat, Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Neelkanth Mahadev Temple and Janki Setu before continuing to Delhi Airport or Railway Station for departure.
