6 Days Jammu and Kashmir Trip Overview

This 6-day Kashmir winter tour starts in Srinagar with sightseeing at Shankaracharya Temple, Chashme Shahi, Pari Mahal, Nishat Bagh, Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, Hazratbal Shrine and Lal Chowk. Shorter winter daylight hours and local weather conditions may affect sightseeing timings.

The journey continues with a day excursion from Srinagar to Sonamarg via Ganderbal and Kangan. Thajiwas Glacier is included in the planned sightseeing, subject to weather, visibility and local accessibility conditions, before returning to Srinagar for the night.

The next day is dedicated to Gulmarg, with snowy mountain and valley views along with a planned Gondola ride towards Kongdoori and Affarwat. Gondola operations and timings are subject to weather and local conditions, and the itinerary notes preventive-maintenance closure on the second and fourth Monday of every month.

From Srinagar, the route then proceeds towards Pahalgam, stopping at a Kesar Garden, local dry fruits hub, bat factory, Avantipura Ruins and an apple orchard. After arriving in Pahalgam, the itinerary includes time around the local market and Lidder River before the overnight stay.

The Pahalgam sightseeing day covers Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari, with visits and accessibility subject to winter weather and local conditions. The return journey includes Martand Sun Temple before reaching Srinagar for the final overnight stay. After breakfast the following morning, the tour concludes with transfer to Srinagar Airport or railway station for departure.
