This Char Dham pilgrimage begins in the sacred city of Haridwar located on the banks of the Ganges River. The journey starts with visits to important temples, ashrams, and ghats before gradually moving from the plains into the Garhwal Himalayan region.
From Haridwar, the route travels through the Himalayan foothills toward Barkot in the Yamuna Valley, which serves as the gateway for the Yamunotri pilgrimage. After completing the trek to the first shrine, the journey continues eastward through mountain valleys toward Uttarkashi along the Bhagirathi River basin.
Uttarkashi acts as the base for the Gangotri pilgrimage located deeper in the Himalayas. After returning from Gangotri, the route crosses several river valleys and sacred confluences before reaching Guptkashi in the Mandakini Valley, the gateway for the Kedarnath pilgrimage.
Following the Kedarnath visit by helicopter, the journey shifts toward the Alaknanda Valley, passing through Joshimath before reaching the sacred temple town of Badrinath. After completing the final Char Dham shrine, the route descends along the Alaknanda River basin through several confluence towns.
The pilgrimage concludes in the spiritual town of Rishikesh where travelers explore famous ghats, suspension bridges, and ashrams along the Ganges River. After sightseeing in Rishikesh, the tour ends with departure from the railway station.
The starting price is approximately INR 32,999 per person depending on travel dates and customization
