The expedition commences with an ascent from the Dehradun valley into the southern ridges of the Mussoorie and Landour range. The initial phase of the journey focuses on the high-altitude colonial heritage and ridgeline viewpoints of the Garhwal region. Movement is concentrated along the mountain passes toward the spiritual hub of Rishikesh and the holy plains of Haridwar, following the descent of the Ganges from the Himalayas.
The route then transitions eastward toward the subtropical foothills of the Ramnagar valley. This geographic shift moves the journey from the spiritual riverbanks into the dense Sal forests and riverine grasslands of the Jim Corbett tiger reserve. The itinerary continues with an ascent into the Kumaon lake district, using the Nainital basin as a central hub for radial excursions to the military cantonment of Ranikhet and the fruit-growing belts of Mukteshwar.
The final leg of the circuit explores the high-altitude botanical gardens and hidden waterfalls of the central Kumaon hills. The journey navigates through the scenic mountain roads and heritage markets of the interior highlands before descending through the Sharda valley. The tour concludes with a southern transfer through the lower forest reserves toward the Pantnagar transit hubs for departure.
