This spiritual Himalayan journey begins in Delhi and moves toward the sacred town of Rishikesh along the banks of the Ganges. After exploring the riverfront ghats and spiritual atmosphere, the route ascends deeper into the Garhwal Himalayas toward Guptkashi through the river valleys of Uttarakhand.
From Guptkashi, the pilgrimage begins with the Kedarnath journey via Gaurikund, combining mountain driving with a high-altitude Himalayan trek. After completing the Kedarnath shrine, the itinerary continues into remote mountain valleys toward Ransi and the trekking routes that lead to the Madhyamaheshwar temple region.
Following the Madhyamaheshwar pilgrimage, the route transitions toward the alpine meadows of Chopta in the Kedarnath wildlife region. This section of the journey includes high-altitude Himalayan trekking routes leading toward Tungnath and the surrounding summit viewpoints.
The journey then continues toward the remote Garhwal mountain trails leading to Rudranath, one of the most isolated Panch Kedar temples. After returning from this region, the itinerary moves northward toward Joshimath through the river valleys of the Alaknanda basin.
Joshimath becomes the base for exploring Kalpeshwar in the Urgam Valley and for visiting the Badrinath temple region located further north in the high Himalayas. These stages highlight the geography of the upper Garhwal region where sacred rivers, valleys, and ancient temples define the pilgrimage landscape.
After completing the northern Himalayan temples, the route gradually descends through the Alaknanda valley and the series of sacred river confluences before reaching Haridwar on the Ganges plains. The journey concludes with temple visits and spiritual experiences in Haridwar before returning to Delhi.
