This Do Dham pilgrimage begins in Dehradun and travels through the scenic Garhwal Himalayan foothills toward Guptkashi. The journey follows river valleys and mountain roads, including a stop at the sacred Devprayag confluence where the Ganga river is formed.
From Guptkashi, the itinerary proceeds toward the Kedarnath region through Gaurikund, combining a mountain drive with the traditional Himalayan trek leading to the Kedarnath temple area. After completing the Kedarnath pilgrimage, travelers return to Guptkashi through the Mandakini valley.
The route then shifts eastward across the Garhwal Himalayan landscape toward the Alaknanda valley. Passing through Rudraprayag and the mountain town of Joshimath, the journey continues deeper into the high Himalayan region toward Badrinath.
After visiting Badrinath and exploring the temple region, the itinerary descends through the Alaknanda river valley. The return journey follows the scenic Himalayan roads and river confluences before reaching Dehradun, completing the Do Dham circuit across the Garhwal Himalayas.
