7 Days Arunachal Pradesh Trip Overview

This 7-day Arunachal Pradesh winter tour starts from Itanagar and travels through mountain roads, towns, villages and forested valleys towards Bomdila for the first overnight stay.

From Bomdila, the route continues towards Tawang through Sela Pass and Sela Lake, followed by Jung Falls or Nuranang Falls, Tawang War Memorial and Tawang Monastery. High-altitude travel, waterfall access and sightseeing visibility may vary depending on winter weather and local road conditions.

The Tawang stay includes a dedicated excursion towards Bum La Pass with the Giant Buddha Statue and Temple and Madhuri Lake. A local taxi is required for visiting Bum La Pass and Madhuri Lake, while high-altitude sightseeing remains subject to winter weather, visibility and local road conditions.

The journey then moves from Tawang to Dirang for Dirang Dzong, Dirang Monastery and Dirang Hot Water Spring. A further excursion covers Kalachakra Gompa and Sangti Valley along with the itinerary's Dirang sightseeing before returning to Dirang for the overnight stay.

From Dirang, the winter route proceeds towards Tezpur with Nichiphula Waterfall, Sesa View Point, Navika Waterfall, Lumum Waterfall and Haleshwar Temple.
