11 Days Uttarakhand Trip Overview

The family Char Dham journey begins with arrival in Delhi, followed by a transfer to Haridwar for hotel check-in and evening Ganga Aarti. The next day includes a scenic drive via Mussoorie to Barkot, which serves as the base for Yamunotri. From Barkot, the route continues to Janki Chatti followed by a 5 km trek to Yamunotri Temple and hot springs before returning to Barkot. The journey then proceeds to Uttarkashi through valleys and river landscapes for overnight stay.

From Uttarkashi, the itinerary includes a drive to Gangotri Temple with a stop at Gagnani hot springs before returning to Uttarkashi. The route then continues towards Guptkashi via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Ukhimath, covering major river confluences and temple sites. The Kedarnath section includes a helicopter journey from Guptkashi to Kedarnath Temple for darshan before returning the same day. After Kedarnath, the route proceeds to Badrinath via Joshimath and Govind Ghat.

In Badrinath, the itinerary includes temple darshan and a visit to Tapt Kund before descending to Joshimath for overnight stay. The journey then continues to Rishikesh via Karnaprayag, Nandprayag, and Devprayag, covering multiple confluences along the Alaknanda River. The final day includes Rishikesh sightseeing covering Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Triveni Ghat, Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, and Janki Setu before the return drive to Delhi for departure, concluding the Char Dham circuit.
