4 Days Uttarakhand Trip Overview

The journey begins with arrival in Dehradun, where passengers are received and transferred to their hotel for rest and pre-yatra briefing. The stay is arranged near Malsi forest with views of surrounding Himalayan foothills. In the evening, the team conducts a detailed session covering helicopter travel procedures, baggage limitations, and route plan. Passengers may spend the day at leisure or explore nearby areas independently before preparing for the Do Dham helicopter yatra starting from Sahastradhara helipad.

The main journey begins with helicopter departure from Sahastradhara towards Kedarnath via Sersi helipad, which serves as a transit base for shuttle services. On arrival at Kedarnath helipad, passengers proceed for temple darshan with assistance from the ground team. The itinerary includes visits to Kedarnath Temple, Shankaracharya Samadhi, and optional trek to Bhairon Mandir, along with arrangements for Rudrabhishek. The next day, the route continues by helicopter towards Badrinath, offering aerial views of Chaukhamba Peak, Tungnath Temple, and Nanda Devi peak during the journey.

After landing at Badrinath helipad, the itinerary includes hotel check-in followed by darshan at Badrinath Temple and participation in Sandhya Aarti. The next day covers an excursion to Mana Village, including visits to Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pul, both associated with mythological significance. After completing the Badrinath circuit, passengers return by helicopter from Badrinath to Sahastradhara helipad in Dehradun. The journey concludes with transfer to Dehradun Airport or Railway Station, completing the Do Dham circuit covering Kedarnath and Badrinath.

4 Days Uttarakhand Itinerary (Day Wise Plan)

Our teams will arrange pickup from Dehradun Airport or Railway station.
Our Chardham Yatra starts in the lap of luxury, surrounded with nature.
Nestled on the foothills of Queen of Hills Mussoorie, amidst picturesque Malsi forest and majestic Himalayanrange, lies the sprawling campus of Hotel Hyatt Regency, Dehradun, the first 5-star deluxe hotel of Dehradun.
Our journey for Chardham Yatra starts here and makes the yatra filled with everlasting memories. Passengers can relax in the hotel on Day Zero or plan any local sightseeing on their own on this day.
Our teams will meet allpassengers at 7.30PM in hotel lobby and brief them about travel plans
AlI passengers MUST note that ONLY 5 KG baggage is allowed per passenger in the helicopter. Excess baggage will not be allowed to go onboard.
Heritage Aviation willprovide small duffle bags for each passenger in which the luggagewill have to be shifted. No other bags or suitcases will be permittedto go on board.


Starts at 12.30 PM. All passengers for the Do Dham Yatra are advised to positively leave their hotel by 11:30 AM. After a short briefing passengers will board their helicopters foronward journey.
Our pilots are specially trained to give excitingcommentary to passengers about the mesmerizing views ofSnow-clad Himalayan peaks and all the important sites fallingenroute the helicopter route.
Some of them will also tell you mythological stories about Do Dham yatra during the helicopter ride.12:30 PM 13:15 PM Departure Sahastradhara helipad, Dehradun Arrival Kedarnath helipad.
Arrival at Sersi Helipad to changeover of Helicopter to reach Kedarnath Helipad (Due to heavy traffic of helicopters at Kedarnath the charter helicopter may not get permission to fly direct and we may have to go via shuttle operators) We will land at Sersi helipad in Kedar valley.
This is our base point for Kedarnath. From Sersi, passengers will be transferred to Kedarnath by helicopter shuttle.
Upon arrival at the Kedarnath Helipad, our dedicated team will be present to assist you with check-in to your Hotel at Kedarnath.
Later all passengers will be taken for Special darshan at the Kedarnath temple. Our teams will guide passengers when to go for darshans depending on crowd situation at the temple.
The Distance from helipad to Kedarnath temple is about 500 meters.
The altitude at temple is 11500 feet. It is advised to walk slowly at Kedarnath. It normally takes 15-20 mins for an average person to walk from helipad to temple. Later in the day everyone must see the renovated Shankaracharya Samadhi which is now converted in to a Shankaracharya memorial.
More adventurous ones can also do a climb of Bhairon Mandir which is approx. 500-600 meters of steeptrek from temple Kedarnath temple is seeing very large number of visitors now a days. In the evening our teams will organize Rudrabhishek/Special Pujawhich takes place at the temple throughout the night.
Our teams will discuss the schedule with you and accordingly arrange Rudrabhishek inside the temple in coordination with templecommittee. Visitors should expect a waiting time of 30–45 minutes outside the temple before the special Puja.


13:15 AM Departure Kedarnath helipad (Via Sersi) 13:45 AM Arrival Badrinath Helipad One gets a very close view of mighty Chaukhamba Peak moments after taking off for Badrinath.
Chaukhamba is one of the most attractive peaks of Garhwal and the highest and best peak on our route. We will also get to see the aerial darshan of famous Tungnath temple.
The highest Lord Shiva temple on earth which isalso one of the main temples of Panch Kedar circuit. If the weather is clear we may get to see majestic Nanda Devi peak near Joshimath which is the second highest peak of India and also worshipped as protector of Himalayas by people of Uttarakhand.
Badrinath is the main Dham in Chardham Yatra. Located at 10,000 feet altitude on the banks of river Alaknanda, and in middle of Nar and Narayan Parvat.
This Lord Vishnu temple was established by sage Adi Guru Shankaracharya in the 8th century. Badrinath is a small picturusque town.
After landing first we willgo and check in into Hotel Dikesh Inn/Similar.
SANDHYA ARTI This is the highlight of our Do Dham Yatra, In the evening our teams will organize Sandhya Arti between 04:00PM to 07:00PM.
Here you will able to experience the divine experience of Arti inside the Badrinath Temple. Later time free to relax and enjoy the scenic views around your hotel.


After Breakfast Proceed for Day Trip to Mana Village. Visit to MANA Village is must for every passenger we will organize a day trip to Mana.
Mana is a very ancient village with huge mythological significance. It is believed that Maharishi Ved Vyas composed the epіс Mahabharata with help from Lord Ganesha in a small cave which is known as Vyas Cave or Vyas Gufa in Mana Village.
Also the Pandavas after the Mahabharat returned to heaven via Mana village. We advise that everyone should visit Mana Village in afternoon. It is 3 kms from the hotel.
BHIM PUL The Pandavas after the Mahabharata war while going to Heaven passed through Mana Village. After a 15 min walk inside the village there is a small stone bridge which is known as Bhim Pul.
It is believed that when Draupadi was not able to jump across the river Bhim pulled this huge stone and made a bridge for her. One will be surprised to see that this bridge stands without any support.

Extra Weight Charges

  • Helicopters have strict weight restriction at high altitudes. Passengers weighing more than 75 Kgs will have to pay 2000 Rs per Kg for additional weight.
  • Extra weight charges will be applicable on the additional weight coming over and above the average weight. For example: If two persons are weighing 60kg and 95kg then their total weight is 155kgs whereas average weight of 2 persons is 150kg. Hence in this case they will be charged additional weight charges of 5kg.
  • If additional average weight is more than 25kgs then the passenger will be charged for two seats. For example: If one passenger weight is 60kgs and second passenger weight is 120kgs then total weight becomes 180kgs and in this case additional average weight is 30kg. Hence the passenger will have to pay for additional seat and this cost will be charged INR 125,000.
  • Passengers are advised to mention correct weight in booking form. If weight is found incorrect at the time of travel boarding will be denied. Only a maximum variation of 2 Kgs will be permitted and that too at an extra cost.
  • Helicopters' have limited weight carrying capacity; to manage the weight for safe flying in the hills, we might have to shuffle passengers between helicopters. Therefore, as per Pilot's recommendation passengers travelling together may not be accommodated in same helicopter flight.

Child/Infant & Rescheduling Policies

  • Children above the age of 2 years will be considered full ticket. The Charges applicable for infant (below 02 Years) will be 15,000 per infant.
  • Rescheduling of booking to a next date will be done subject to availability and on payment of 5% of the cost. This will be permitted only if applied 15 days before journey date. In case the rescheduling is requested with less than 15 days to the journey then booking will be treated as cancelled and a fresh booking will be given subject to availability.
  • ONLY 4KG luggage per person is permitted.
  • Passengers should carry only handbags provided by Heritage Aviation as suitcases cannot be kept in the helicopter.
  • All temples in Chardham are located in high altitude areas. Passengers having breathing problems should take advise from doctor before undertaking this yatra.
  • Passangers are advised to book evening flights/Trains departing after 6:00 PM, while returning back from Dehradun as due to weather/Operational reasons there might be delay in reaching back Badrinath to Dehradun.
  • Although day temperatures at these locations are normal but it becomes cold in the night and so passengers must carry wollen clothes with them.
  • The altitude of Kedarnath temple is 11500 Feet and Badrinath temple is 10000 Feet. Sometimes passengers may experience lack of oxygen specially at Kedarnath, hence they are advised to walk slowly. Portable oxygen bottles are available at all stations on requirement basis.
  • Kedarnath helipad to temple distance is nearly 500 meters. Pithu (Shoulder Carriage) is available on payment basis.
  • All passengers coming by helicopters are permitted to do Special darshans inside the temple however sometimes during the heavy rush period administration does not allow passengers to go inside sanctum sanctorum for puja and darshans are done from a little distance.
  • Please don't carry Dangerous goods on board the Helicopters. In case of any doubt regarding any item, please clarify with our team in advance.

Cancellations & Payment Terms

Payment Terms

  • Bookings to be done in advance with a deposit of 50% of the charter amount, and the balance payment has to be deposited 07 days prior to the date of arrival in Dehradun.

Cancellation Policy

  • If passengers wish to cancel their booking, then they will have to pay following cancellation charges:
  • Upto 20 days before journey: INR 10,000 Per Person
  • Between 20 Days to 07 Days Before Journey: 50% of total Package cost
  • Less than 07 Days before journey: 100% of total Package cost

Bad Weather Situation

  • If we are stuck in a bad weather situation on any particular day out of the 5 days, we will still try to finish the darshan on next day. Suppose there is bad weather on 3rd day and we are unable to fly to Kedarnath then we will try and do both Kedarnath and Badrinath on 4th day.
  • In case we are completely unable to visit any Dham due to bad weather situation we will refund proportionate money. This means that if due to any reason we are unable to do 2 dhams then we will refund 50% payment after deducting Dehradun accommodation, meals or any other consumed services.
  • In case of bad weather if the stay gets extended beyond 5 nights, then passengers will have to bear the cost of additional night stay. Cost applicable for Additional night stay will be INR 7500 Per person per Night.
