6 Days Jammu and Kashmir Trip Overview

The journey begins with arrival in Jammu, followed by transfer to Katra, the base for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage. After hotel check-in, the itinerary proceeds with the trek from Katra towards the shrine located on Trikuta Mountain, covering key points such as Banganga and Ardhkuwari before reaching Bhavan for darshan. The return trek follows the same route back to Katra, where the day concludes with dinner and overnight stay. This initial phase is centered on the pilgrimage route and associated temple visits.

The middle section transitions from Katra into the Kashmir Valley through a scenic road journey. The route passes through the Chenani–Nashri Tunnel and Banihal region, with stops at Verinag Spring and the Martand Sun Temple before reaching Pahalgam. After arrival, time is allocated for exploring Pahalgam and its local market.
