6 Days Uttarakhand Trip Overview

This spiritual journey begins in Dehradun and first travels to the nearby hill station of Mussoorie located in the lower Himalayan range. The initial part of the trip explores important viewpoints and temples in Mussoorie before the pilgrimage continues deeper into the Garhwal Himalayas.

From Mussoorie, the route proceeds toward Barkot in the Yamuna Valley, which serves as the gateway to the Yamunotri pilgrimage region. The itinerary includes travel through mountain roads and trekking routes beginning from Janki Chatti to reach the sacred temple.

After completing the Yamunotri visit, the journey continues eastward through scenic Himalayan valleys toward Uttarkashi along the Bhagirathi River basin. This historic pilgrimage town serves as the base for visiting Gangotri located further north in the higher Himalayan region.

Following the Gangotri excursion, the route descends through forested mountains and river valleys back toward Dehradun. The journey concludes in the Doon Valley, completing the sacred Yamunotri and Gangotri pilgrimage circuit in Uttarakhand.
