Gangotri Yamunotri Family Tour From Dehradun

The family pilgrimage journey begins with arrival in Dehradun, followed by transfer to Mussoorie for sightseeing and acclimatization in the hill region. The first day covers Kempty Falls, George Everest, Company Garden, Landour, Santala Devi Temple, Shedup Choephelling Temple, and Mall Road before overnight stay in Mussoorie. The next day continues from Mussoorie towards Janki Chatti, the base point for Yamunotri, followed by a trek to Yamunotri Mandir and hot springs before driving to Barkot.

The Yamunotri section continues from Barkot with breakfast and a drive to Janki Chatti for the main trek. The itinerary includes a 5 km trek to Yamunotri Temple through mountain paths, temple prayers, hot spring experience, and the return trek to Janki Chatti before driving back to Barkot. After completing the Yamunotri circuit, the journey proceeds towards Uttarkashi through scenic valleys, with hotel check-in followed by visits to Shree Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Shakti Temple, Kedar Ghat, and Manikarnika Ghat.

From Uttarkashi, the itinerary continues with a Gangotri excursion through mountain roads and river valleys. The day includes a visit to Gangotri Temple, a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River, and a stop at Gagnani natural hot springs before returning to Uttarkashi for overnight stay. On the final day, after breakfast and checkout, the route proceeds from Uttarkashi to Dehradun through mountain landscapes, forests, and river valleys, ending with transfer to Dehradun airport or railway station.
