8 Days Sikkim Trip Overview

The journey begins with arrival at Bagdogra or NJP, followed by a scenic drive along the Teesta River valley ascending into Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim.

From Gangtok, a high-altitude excursion heads east along the historic Silk Route corridor to Nathula Pass, including stops at Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir before returning to the city.

The route then shifts toward East Sikkim, climbing through forested mountain roads to Zuluk, known for its dramatic zigzag stretches and panoramic Himalayan viewpoints.

After exploring the Silk Route landscapes around Zuluk, the journey returns westward to Gangtok before descending across state borders into West Bengal toward Darjeeling.

Darjeeling sightseeing covers sunrise viewpoints and colonial-era hill landmarks, followed by an excursion to Kalimpong along the Teesta River valley.

On the final day, the route descends from the Himalayan hills to Bagdogra, completing a multi-destination Eastern Himalayan circuit across Sikkim and Darjeeling.
