5 Days Madhya Pradesh Trip Overview

This 5-day Gwalior Jhansi Orchha Tour combines forts, royal palaces, temples, markets, and Bundela heritage across Madhya Pradesh and Jhansi. Beginning and ending in Gwalior, the route includes two days of Gwalior sightseeing, an overnight stay in Jhansi, and an Orchha visit before returning to Gwalior.

The journey begins with Gwalior Fort, Jai Vilas Palace, local temples, markets, handicrafts, and musical heritage hubs. The second day continues through Gwalior’s historical attractions with Gwalior Fort, Man Singh Palace, Gujari Mahal, Saas Bahu Temples, Jai Vilas Palace, and nearby temples.

From Gwalior, travel to Jhansi for sightseeing at Jhansi Fort, Rani Mahal, Government Museum Jhansi, and St. Jude’s Shrine. The following day continues to Orchha on the banks of the Betwa River, where the itinerary covers Orchha Fort Complex, Ram Raja Temple, and Chaturbhuj Temple before proceeding back to Gwalior.
