4 Days Sikkim Trip Overview

The journey begins with arrival at Bagdogra or NJP, followed by a scenic uphill drive through the Teesta River valley into the Eastern Himalayas to reach Gangtok, Sikkim’s capital city.

A full day is dedicated to exploring Gangtok’s city viewpoints, waterfalls, monasteries and cultural centres spread across different elevations, offering a mix of urban activity and mountain landscapes.

The itinerary then moves further north-east toward the high-altitude border region, covering the winding mountain road to Nathula Pass with stops at Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir before returning to Gangtok the same day.

On the final day, the route descends from the Himalayan terrain back through the Teesta valley to Bagdogra for departure, completing a compact mountain circuit focused around Gangtok.
