The journey continues with an excursion to Shiv Khori, adding another revered cave shrine experience within the region. The route then shifts from pilgrimage terrain to scenic mountain landscapes as the itinerary moves toward Patnitop via Udhampur.

The final leg explores hill station surroundings, lakes, temples, and pine-covered meadows before descending back to Jammu. The itinerary is structured to balance spiritual travel with relaxed mountain exploration prior to departure.

Begin your day with breakfast at your hotel in Katra.
Start the trek from Katra to Banganga by walking, pony, or palanquin.
Continue to Ardhkuwari and visit Ardhkuwari Temple.
Proceed to Bhavan and prepare for Darshan at the main shrine.
Enter the sanctum for Darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi.
Return trek from Bhavan to Katra, then enjoy dinner and overnight stay.


After breakfast, depart from Katra for a scenic drive to Shiv Khori, a revered natural cave shrine of Lord Shiva.
From the base point, a well-paved trek of approx. 3 km one way leads to the cave entrance.
The route is gently uphill and passes through forested surroundings; ponies and palanquins are available for those who prefer not to walk.
After darshan and time inside the cave, return by the same route and drive back to Katra by evening.

Drive to Patnitop via Udhampur, enjoying scenic Jammu landscapes.
