The journey begins with arrival at Bagdogra, followed by a scenic uphill drive through tea gardens and forested slopes to reach Darjeeling in the Eastern Himalayas.
After exploring Darjeeling’s ridge-top viewpoints and monasteries, the route moves west into Sikkim via Namchi and Geyzing to reach Pelling, offering panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga range.
From Pelling, the journey continues eastward across Sikkim’s interior mountain roads to Gangtok, transitioning from West Sikkim’s heritage hills to the capital city’s urban setting.
The itinerary then heads north from Gangtok into the remote region of North Sikkim, ascending through forested valleys to Lachen and further toward the high-altitude Gurudongmar Lake near the Tibetan plateau.
Descending southward, the route passes through alpine landscapes to Lachung and explores the Yumthang Valley region before retracing the mountain highway back to Gangtok.
A separate high-altitude excursion from Gangtok follows the historic Silk Route corridor to Nathula Pass, including stops at Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir before returning to the city.
On the final day, the journey descends from the Himalayan hills to Bagdogra, completing a comprehensive circuit across Darjeeling and Sikkim.
