9 Days West Bengal Trip Overview

The journey begins with arrival at Bagdogra, followed by a scenic drive through tea gardens and forested hills to reach Darjeeling in the Eastern Himalayas.

After exploring Darjeeling’s sunrise viewpoints and hill landmarks, the route crosses into Sikkim, ascending along winding mountain roads and river valleys to reach Gangtok.

From Gangtok, the itinerary heads north into the remote region of North Sikkim, gradually climbing through forested slopes to Lachen and further toward the high-altitude Gurudongmar Lake near the Tibetan plateau.

The journey then descends southward through alpine valleys to Lachung and explores the Yumthang Valley region before retracing the scenic highway back to Gangtok.

A dedicated day in Gangtok covers city viewpoints and monasteries before heading east along the historic Silk Route corridor to Nathula Pass, including stops at Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir.
