This 9-day trans-Himalayan journey begins in Leh with gradual acclimatization and exploration of cultural landmarks along the Indus Valley. The route then moves north across Khardung La into Nubra Valley, transitioning from mountain ridges to high-altitude desert terrain.

From Nubra, the itinerary heads east to Pangong Lake and continues deeper into the remote Changthang region toward Hanle. An excursion to Umling La Pass adds one of the world’s highest motorable roads, covering isolated plateau landscapes and frontier terrain before proceeding toward Tso Moriri.

The journey then crosses Tso Kar and More Plains before descending through Baralacha La into Lahaul, halting at Jispa and concluding in Manali via the Atal Tunnel. The circuit connects Ladakh’s monasteries, high passes, remote lakes, and cold deserts with Himachal’s alpine valleys, forming a complete high-altitude overland experience.
